From August 25 to 29, 2013, PVN and PVFCCo delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Liem – member of PVN Member Council and Mr. Bui Minh Tien – PVFCCo’s Chairman of Board of Directors paid an working visit to Yangon, Myanmar.
The delegation attended the Conference on Vietnam-Myanmar investment promotion, visited and worked with PVFCCo’s Representative Office in Myanmar, paid a courtesy visit to Vietnam Embassy in Myanmar, met and worked with Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).
At the Representative Office of PVFCCo in Myanmar, the delegation was reported on Myanmar’s recent situations and the prospects of operation, business and investment in Myanmar. Mr. Bui Minh Tien provided the Rep. Office with detailed directions of upcoming operation orientations and tasks. Working with Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the delegation exchanged the possibilities of cooperation and investment in field of fertilizer production from rich sources of natural gas of Myanmar. On behalf of PVFCCo, Mr. Bui Minh Tien gave PVFCCo’s logo to UMFCCI Deputy General Director. In the courtesy visit to Vietnam Embassy in Myanmar, the delegation expressed PVFCCo’s sincere thanks to the Embassy for its valuable helps to Vietnamese business community in Myanmar in general and PVFCCo in particular during the last time.
On August 29, 2013, after completing the working visit, the delegation left Myanmar and returned home.
