PVFCCo Women – Set A Fire

In the evening of October 20 at Da Lat (Lam Dong) city, PVFCCo’s Trade Union held 86th anniversary of Vietnam Women’s Union with the theme “PVFCCo Women – Set A Fire”. 

Attendees included Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan, Member of the Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of PVN’s Trade Union; Ms. Luong Thi Hong Nhung, Deputy Head of the Propaganda & Female Worker Committee of PVN’S Trade Union.

Attendees from PVFCCo included Mr. Le Cu Tan, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of PVFCCo’s BOD; Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Thao, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Vice President; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Member of the Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of PVFCCo’s BOD; Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet, Member of the Party Standing Committee, Head of Committee for the Advancement of Women, Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Hong Vinh – Member of the Party Standing Committee; Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong – Vice President; Mr. Tong Xuan Phong, Chairman of Trade Union; leaders, representatives of divisions, member companies, political organizations and over 200 women. 

Addressing the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of PVFCCo’s Trade Union Executive Committee, Head of PVFCCo’s Female Worker Committee emphasized that with Vietnamese women tradition, during the country”s renovation period, emulation movements such as “Women actively pursuing study and creative work, building happy families” and “Women excellent at work, perfect at home” have attracted a large number of women. Many women have become typical faces of good and creative labor. 

At PVFCCo, women always join emulation for innovation and initiatives, significantly contributing to PVFCCo’s construction and development. PVFCCo’s women are not only the warm fire at home and at work but also “Set a Fire” in many social security programs. On the occasion of this year October 20, PVFCCo’s women have carried out meaningful and humane task with gifts donated to SOS Children Village.

On this occasion, the Head of Female Worker Committee expected PVFCCo’s women to keep up with good effort, overcoming difficulties and gender stereotypes, being active and creative, promoting the tradition of unity and solidarity, and helping each other in life and work. Hopefully, in the future, PVFCCo’s women will continue receiving support and attention from leadership, male colleagues.    

Mr. Le Cu Tan, Party Committee Secretaryand Chairman of PVFCCo’s BODrepresented leadership and male colleagues to congratulate women on Vietnam Women’s Day. He also sent his profound thanks to women for their important contributions to the general success of PVFCCo. He emphasized women’s role and importance on keeping the family fire, raising children and always setting fire of love. 

Chairman Le Cu Tan continued emphasizing: “Over 13 years of construction and development, PVFCCo has recorded many great achievements. For those accomplishments, apart from contributions of all personnel in general we cannot help praising female employees’ contributions in specific. I wish women to keep more and more dynamic, creative so as to overcome gender stereotypes and rise up in work. PVFCCo’s leadership, including the Committee for Advancement of Women will introduce many action plans to facilitate women in promoting their capacity.”

Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan, Chairwoman of PVN’s Trade Union sent her best wishes to PVFCCo’s female employees on the occasion of Vietnam Women’s Day, and thanked PVFCCo’s Leadership, Trade Union and organizations for their attention, action plans to implement gender equality; launching practical and effective policies to help women develop their capacity in professional work, build happy families and set fire of love. 

In an effort to promote solidarity spirit, responding to the call of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for helping women in difficult circumstances, PVFCCo’s Trade Union and Female Worker Committee mobilized employees to raise 100 million VND to support the Fund for Underprivileged Women of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Trade Unionand donate outdoor toys to Da Lat SOS Children Village.

Beside, in the celebration, PVFCCo’s female employees participated in the teambuilding program with active games, bringing lots of happiness and laughter. Female employees also joined the lucky draw and received many valuable gifts from PVFCCo’s Trade Union.
