On the occasion of the 88th anniversary of Vietnam Women”s Union (20th October 1930 – 20th October 2018), from 12th to 14th October 2018 in Da Nang City, the Executive Committee of PetroVietnam Fertilizer & Chemicals Corp (PVFCCo) has cooperated with Women”s Department to organize the event “PVFCCo Women – Light the Flame of Love” along with many exciting and meaningful cultural exchange activities.

Participating in the program, the leaders of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) included Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – Head of financial department of Trade Union; the leaders of PVFCCo included Mr. Le Cu Tan – Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the BOM of PVFCCo; Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of Trade Union of  PVFCCo; other members of the Board, Board of Directors, Executive Committee, the leaders and representatives of the committee, unit members, political organizations and especially the participation of over 150 female staffs working at Head office and branches.

At the ceremony, on behalf of BOD and all of the male colleagues, Mr. Le Cu Tan congratulated the female staffs on the occasion of the Vietnamese Women”s Day. He expressed sincere and deep gratitude to the female co-workers for their pivotal contributions to the overall success of the unit; emphasized the role and importance of women in keeping the fire of family, parenting and always lighting the flame of love.  He offered wishes to the female staffs to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, mutual support, help each other develop a beautiful tradition of PVFCCo’s women in order to keep contributing to the development of PVFCCo in the future.

Afterwards, there was a Gala Dinner – where the female staffs could let their talents shine by participating in many contests included:  Play, modern dance, fashion show… In the Gala Dinner, the Executive Committee also sent birthday greetings, gave presents to female staffs with birthdays in October and the female employees also participated in the lucky draw and received many valuable gifts from the PVFCCo’s Trade Union.

During the program, the female employees took part in Teambuilding activities with entertaining and exciting games at My Khe beach in Da Nang, thereby enhancing solidarity and understanding among the women in PVFCCo and visited acclaimed tourist resorts such as Ba Na, Hoi An Ancient Town, Son Tra Peninsula, Linh Ung Pagoda…

The anniversary event of Vietnamese Women’s Day on 20 October, “PVFCCo Women – Light the Flame of Love”, has been a successful event, truly created a joyful and warm atmosphere, strengthened solidarity among female employees.
