On 14 March 2015, in Vung Tau City, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) joined the final round of 2015 Festival Contest of Good Hygienic Safety Workers of Ba Ria – Vung Tau. This activity of PVFCCo was aimed at responding to the 17th National Week on Labor Safety and Hygiene – Fire prevention and fighting in 2015.
Attendees of the festival included Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen – Deputy Secretary of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Trong Sang – Member of Presidium, Head of National Labor Relations of Vietnam General Labor Confederation, Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha – Vice Chairman of PetroVietnam Trade Union. Representatives of PVFCCo’s leaders included Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of PVFCCo’s Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung – Vice Director and Chairman of Trade Union of Phu My Fertilizer Plant.
Apart from PVFCCo in the final round, the contest included excellent contestant teams from: Vung Tau City Labor Confederation, Trade Union of Industry and Trade, Trade Union of Construction industry, Trade Union of Vietsovpetro Joint Venture. In the final round, PVFCCo competed in: Self-introduction, warming-up, knowledge and practice contest on Labor Safety and Hygiene – Fire prevention and fighting. PVFCCo’s Hygienic Safety Worker team gave good impressive results and was highly evaluated by the judges. Members of the Team were well coordinated and flexible in handling situations in the contest such as: how to deal with labor protection issues, first-aid skills for labor accidents on site, skills handling common incidents such as: poisoning, bandaging…
Moreover, PVFCCo’s fan team added to the Contest an extremely enthusiastic and exciting atmosphere. The slogans “PVFCCo – solidarity, confidence, victory”, “Phu My Urea – For bumper crop” were constantly reverberated throughout the Contest.
At the end of the Contest, PVFCCo excellently won the First prize in overall performance with two minor prizes named “Best self-introduction” and “Best fan team”.
