On August 10, 2015, PVFCCo SW continued the program “Supporting farmers’ children in attending school” at Dai Tam Commune, My Xuyen District, Soc Trang Province.
The program was organized with the cooperation from Dai Tam 1 Elementary School’s managing board and Hung Thanh Private Enterprise – a local client of PVFCCo SW.
At the ceremony, PVFCCo SW’s representative, Mr. Le Kien Dinh – Vice Director – granted 165 presents consisting of notebooks and cash with total value of 25 million VND to 165 pupils (150 presents with each consisting of 20 notebooks and 15 presents in cash worth 500 thousand VND apiece). The program reflected the practical care of PVFCCo in general and PVFCCo SW in particular for poor but hard-studying pupils in lending them a helping hand in school attendance, encouraging them to study better in the school year 2015-2016.
This is also a regular activity of PVFCCo/PVFCCo SW, reflecting the sharing with, contribution to and responsibility for the community in helping local children of farmers faced with difficulties, of people living in poverty and marginal poverty who achieved good academic results.
