In this morning (19/11/2013), SouthWest Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SW), a member company of PetroVietnam Fertilizers and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo), in collaboration with People’s Committee of Vinh Phuoc Commune, Tri Ton District, An Giang Province deployed the program to grant fertilizer to farmer families suffered from losing their entire rice crop in last 2013 Autumn-Winter crop caused by the flood.
The program was attended by Mr. Tran Van Cuong – Chief of Tri Ton District People’s Committee Secretariat, Mr. Bui Quang Phu Dien – PVFCCo SW’s Deputy Director, and representatives of local agencies and sectors, and farmers to be supported who early attended in desire to receive meaningful gifts from PVFCCo SW.
The program supported fertilizer with total value of 120 million VND to 51 farmer families suffered from losing their entire Autumn-Winter rice crop, in which each family was given 100 kg of Urea Phu My and 150 kg of Phu My MOP.
This was a significant activity of PVFCCo/PVFCCo SW aimed at timely assisting and sharing with difficulties and losses of farmers with a whole day of hard work in the fields, contributing to supporting families to overcome difficulties, quickly stabilize their lives, and recover production.
