In response to the sixteenth national week 2014 themed “Think and take action towards the goal of having no occupational accident, occupational disease, fire and explosion at workstations”, performing rehearsal plan given fire fighting procedures approved, on the 19/03/2014 at 13.30, PVFCCo SW organised a situational emergency rehearsal, fire and explosion incident response at storage zone of Phu My fertiliser warehouse in Tra Noc (Tra Noc warehouse).
Participating in this rehearsal, there were on-site emergency response forces, local fire fighting and prevention team, security forces, PVFCCo SW employees, professional fire fighting and prevention forces from the department of Fire fighting Police, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City.
This rehearsal targeted at encompassingfire fighting and rescue skills, ensuring life safety, and raising awareness of fire fighting and prevention to employees currently working at the warehouse. Meanwhile, there was actual examination on tools and on-site vehicles, thereby recognising and overcoming shortcomings, and insufficiencies in fire fighting and prevention tasks.
After the rehearsal, a meeting was organised by joining forces to learn from experiences, recapitulate the rehearsal and draw attention to some matters: enforcing on-site fire fighting and prevention,frequent skill practice, fire fighting and prevention vehicles examination.
