On November 23, 2012, PVFCCo SW successfully held the seminar “Guidance on effective use of fertilizer” for farmers in Vi Thang commune, Vi Thuy district, Hau Giang province.
Attending the seminar were representatives of local government, BVTV station and more than 120 farmers in the region. At the seminar, farmers have heard presentation of the company’s staff on the advantages of products supplied by the company such as Phu My Fertilizer, Phu My NPK 16-16-8-13S and the process of effective use of fertilizer on rice plant, at the same time exchange, answer questions of the farmers in the cultivation process as well as the characteristics and utility of the products on crops. The guidance of fertilization process and application of measures of scientific and technical progress in production will help reducing costs, bringing economic efficiency to farmers.
This seminar is part of the series that PVFCCo SW has continuously held from the Winter-Spring crop 2012 – 2013 so far. The seminars have all taken place in a lively manner and attained their initial objective which is to help local farmers to better understand how to effectively use fertilizer, in particular Phu My Fertilizer as well as care for rice plants and prevent harmful effects of pests.
PVFCCo SW will continue to implement a number of conferences in remote areas in the South West regions to provide farmers with more useful information, contribute to improve their cultivation efficiency.
