Attendees included on the part of the PetroVietnam Trade Union, Mr. Ha Duy Dinh, Member of Executive Board of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of PetroVietnam Trade Union and leaders of PetroVietnam Trade Union, member companies such as PVD, PVGas, Petrosetco …; on the part of PVFCCo, Mr. Bui Minh Tien, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of BOD; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, member of the Party Executive Board, Deputy Party Committee Secretary, President & CEO of PVFCCo; Ms Tran Thi Phuong Thao, Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Chairwoman of PVFCCo’s Trade Union and 150 deligates who were outstanding union members representing nearly 2,000 union members of PVFCCo.
At the Congress, the Executive Board of PVFCCo Trade Union presented and adopted the report on implementation of resolutions of the second tenure (2008 – 2012) Congress; Orientations, duties of the third tenure (2012 – 2017) Congress; report of the second Inspection Committee and the activity direction of the third Inspection Committee (2012 – 2017). The Congress Organization Board reported with summary of opinions to the Draft Documents of the Fifth PetroVietnam Trade Union Congress and Draft
Addressing the Congress, Mr. Ha Duy Dinh recalled memories of initial days when PVFCCo Trade Union was in operation. He highly appreciated achievements of PVFCCo’s Trade Union through movements, major activities carried out by the Trade Union in the past years such as patriotic emulation, good labor and initiative promoting movements and social security activities initiated by the Trade Union. Activities of PVFCCo Trade Union has contributed to successful implementation of political and business tasks of PVFCCo. At the same time, he also requested the Executive Board of PVFCCo Trade Union, in the next tenure, to keep further strengthen learning emulation tasks following the example of our beloved Uncle Ho and well implementing social security work in the whole country in order to build a responsible, humane and affectionate environmen, contributing to enhancing the role of the Trade Union to build successfully the PVFCCo’s corporate culture.
At the Congress, Mr. Bui Minh Tien thanked and praised the contributions of the Trade Union Executive Board and drew attention to some key points for the new term Executive Board, such as changing forms of diversified activities to educate patriotic spirit and attach to the work for workers, promoting the creative and active spirit, sharing responsibility and movements of initiatives and improvements in business production as well as in product distribution stage.
In the spirit of serious criticism, evaluation of achievements and failures in the past term, drawing the experience lessons for tasks of the next term, along with the leadership, close guidance and support of PetroVietnam, and assistance, facilitation of local authorities, in next term, PVFCCo”sTrade Union will be united, resolved to strive and complete assigned tasks, building a stronger and stronger Trade union organization.
The Congress also awarded merit certificates to the teams, union members who had outstanding achievements and contributions to the PVFCCo’s Trade Union activities. The Congress selected and voted for the 2012-2017 tenure Executive Board of PVFCCo Trade Union and nominated 08 comrades to attend the fifth Trade Union Congress of PetroVietnam.
