On December 12, 2015, in Vung Tau, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) successfully held Chemicals Customer Conference 2015. Attendees included Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khang – Vice President of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN); Mr. Phung Ha – former Director of Department of Chemicals of Ministry of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Anh Triet – Director of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Industrial Parks Authority as well as customers and partners of PVFCCo in the chemical sector; from PFVCCo: Mr. Le Cu Tan – BOD Chairman; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President & CEO, and members of BOD, BOM, representatives of divisions and members of PVFCCo.
During speeches and communications at the Conference, PVFCCo’s leadership affirmed: proud results and achievements in fertilizer production and trade reflected PVFCCo’s constant focus on promoting production and trade of chemicals to realize PVFCCo’s strategic development targets to 2025 with vision to 2035. In 2015, PVFCCo implemented important quantity and quality improvements in the chemical sector. In specific, the Petrochemical workshop has always maintained stable operation, exceeded designed capacity, promptly supplied specialized petrochemicals to exploration and production joint ventures such as: Bien Dong JOC, Hoang Long JOC, Hoang Vu JOC, Lam Son JOC…; UFC 85 workshop was inaugurated on December 12, 2015, producing 950 tons of formaldehyde and 360 tons of UFC85 of quality in compliance with the Licensor’s standards, affirming that PVFCCo has become the only business in Vietnam capable of producing and distributing high quality UFC85 products replacing imported goods; the project to produce commercial CO2 was commenced in May 2015; the Phu My NH3-NPK complex project had its EPC contract signed in June 2015 and its construction started at the end of 2015…
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khang – PVN’s Vice President highly appreciated PVFCCo’s effort in developing its chemical sector, gradually fulfilling its comprehensive development plan under the name PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation. Vice President Nguyen Sinh Khang also kept delegates updated on PVN’s situation of production and trade in 2015, according to which, even though 2015 was a difficult and challenging year especially due to oil price stumble, PVN exceeded assigned targets. This success of PVN was partly due to important contributions from PVFCCo as well as its chemical customers and partners. Vice President Nguyen Sinh Khang also affirmed that PVN would always support PVFCCo to further improve its chemical sector, to fulfill its capability and expectation of PVN as well as customers and partners.
PVFCCo’s leaders expressed their sincere gratitude to instructions from Ministries, divisions, corporations, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province, support from customers; they also listened to advice and sharing of customers to keep developing PVFCCo’s chemical sector, improving quality of products and customer care services…
