On Dec. 20, 2020, PVFCCo in coordination with local authorities held opening ceremony for Dai Dong commune kindergarten, Yen Binh dist., Yen Bai province.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong – vice Chairman of Yen Binh dist. People Committee, Mr. Pham Tran Nguyen – Deputy director of PVFCCo North, local officials, teachers and preschool kids.

The construction of Dai Dong commune kindergarten is financed by PVFCCo Social Security Fund. The works started in Dec, 2019 featured with 3 floors, 6 classrooms and such other items as fire prevention & fighting system, yard concretization, etc. on a total area of 932 sqm.

Notably, the works have fulfilled such required material infrastructures that the kindergarten is certified as 1st level of National standards in 2020.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong said: Dai Dong Kindergarten now is operated with 8 classes totaling 215 kids, including a branch in Dong Dao village of 3 classes of 87 kids. Dong Dao is a poor village, where most of the preschool kids come from poor families, short of teaching facilities. The opening of this kindergarten has held the school gather up all classes of the branch to the headquarters, securing a sufficient & safe environment. This is also what the parents, teachers, kids and local people have been expecting for long. The works have made a significant contribution to Dai Dong achievement of countryside of new standard.

On behalf of the local authorities, Mr. Truong expressed his gratitude to PVFCCo for its kindness.

On behalf of PVFCCo, Mr. Nguyen said despite of various difficulties caused by Covid 19, PVFCCo been giving a priority to this works by seriously fulfilling all undertakings for the final completion. He hope this kindergarten will take a better care of local kids, who may become talents in future.
