The conference was held on November 22, 2012 in HCM City, attendees of the Conference, on the part of the PVFCCo’s leaders, included: Mr. Bui Minh Tien, Party Committee Secretary, BOD Chairman, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong- Member of PetroVietnam Party Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of PVFCCo”s Party Committee, BOD Member, President & CEO; Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Thao, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Head of PVFCCo’s Supervisory Board and comrades in the Standing Committee Party, members of BOD, Management Board, Supervisory Board, leaders of divisions and units under direct control of PVFCCo, representatives of organizations, especially the workforce of more than 100 officials in accounting finance, audit and control throughout the Corporation.
As a public listed joint-stock company of large capitalization, PVFCCo has its stocks ranked among bluechips and inluded in VN30 index; at the same time, its six subsidiaries are also joint-stock companies, as a result, financial – accounting, audit and control work plays a very important role in PVFCCo. PVFCCo’s Party Committee has issued a special Resolution No. 470/NQ-DU dated August 9, 2011 on strengthening inspection, internal supervision and risk warning tasks and with specific programs, solutions, PVFCCo keeps affirming and displaying focus on these tasks. The conference aims at overall evaluation of a year in implementation of this special resolution and evaluating, exchanging and discussing on accounting finance, control, internal audit tasks at PVFCCo and its subsidiaries.
At the conference, attendees listened to reports, speeches, opinions from units in PVFCCo. In addition, the delegates were also provided with updated information on risk identification systems in financial management, business production, capital resources preservation control and development, updated changes to tax policies in 2012, common issues on tax, corporate tax administration through seminars on Risk Management and Corporate Tax Efficiency Administration in transactions and policy implementation of ERNST & YOUNG experts.
