To continue its preparatory steps in deploying penetration and setting up market in Myanmar, PVFCCo decided to join Vietnamese Goods Fair 2011 lasting from November 17th to 20th 2011 at Myanmar Conventional Center, Yangoon city, Myanmar. This is thelargest fair promoted by the Bureau of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Industry & Trade in 2011, which gathered 200 booths from more than 50 top Vietnamese enterprises operating in many sectors such as agriculture, foods & produce, equipments and consumer goods.
Attending at the ribbon-cuttingceremony to officially inaugurate the fair included Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bien – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Mr. Chu Cong Phung – Vietnam Ambassador in Myanmar, Yangoon metropolitan’s Mayor, Deputy Minister of Trade and Minister of Myanmar Agriculture.
On thePVFCCo, the delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Hong Vinh – PVFCCo’s Vice President – have organized booths within the Fair’s framework and implemented other activities to promote and develop market. That the PVFCCo’s booth was designed and displayed with a uniquely beautiful and eye-catching image with attentive attitude has attracted hundreds of visitors coming to exchange information and explore investment and cooperation opportunities in Myanmar.
