In the afternoon of 17/04/2015, South-East PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical JSC (PVFCCo SE) successfully held its 2015 Annual Session of the General Meeting of Shareholders in Ho Chi Minh city.
Attendees at the Session, from PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) included Mr. Le Cu Tan – Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Van Tong – Vice President; from PVFCCo SE, members of the BOD, BOM, Supervisory Board and especially, 71 shareholders, altogetherholding 92.73% of total shares with voting rights at the Company.
The Annual Session listened to, discussed and voted to adopt the reports, statements of the BOD, Board of Management and Supervisory Board; all contents and reports were adopted at high percentage of yes votes, reflecting the resolve as well as support and consent of shareholders to the Company. The Annual Session also received opinions and comments from shareholders on the results achieved in 2014, and on the business plan for 2015.
Addressing at the Session, Mr. Le Cu Tan praised the results achieved by PVFCCo SE in 2014 including great contributions of shareholders and Distributors of the Company’s distribution system; he also praised the chemical production and business activities aiming at product diversification, competitiveness improvement, contributing to increased profits for the Company. He highly rated the share listing as a significant event of the Company on the track for openness and transparency in corporate governance, business management; helping shareholders and investors well exercise their rights and obligations, marking a major progress step in efficient and sustainable development of the Company. In addition, Mr. Le Cu Tan required PVFCCo SEto overcome difficulties, make full use of existing advantages to fulfill and exceed the 2015 business plan; and he committed that PVFCCo would closely work with and support PVFCCo SE for a rapid, strong and sustainable development in line with the Strategy adopted by the AGM.
On behalf of PVFCCo SE, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa – Chairman of PVFCCo SE committed that the Leadership and all employees would make their best effort to successfully complete the 2015 plan as well as strategic tasks of the Company.
