On January 4, 2013, PVFCCo successfully held the Conference to review Party activities, business activities in 2012, implementing the Employee Plan and Conference 2013
The Conference welcomed Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang – Vice Chairman of the Board of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group together with other attendees in the Board of Members, the Board of Management, the Union of Oil and Gas industry, representatives of Departments and Divisions in the Group. Attendees from PVFCCo included the Party Standing Committee, BOD, Management Board, Union Executive Committee, Youth Union, War Veteran Association, committees and leaders of departments, divisions of PVFCCo… with a total of over 200 delegates. 2012 remained a successful year to PVFCCo with most of key targets achieved or exceeded, including production reaching a record high of 850,000 tons of Phu My Urea.
The Conference reviewed and discussed on Party activities, business activities in 2012, the results, causes and solutions to further enhance leadership capability and encourage creativity and solidarity for well-performing tasks in 2013. The Conference adopted: 2012 Business Performance Report and 2013 Plan; Report on summary of the Party’s 2012 activities and implementation of 2013 Plan, Report on organizing conferences at grassroots level, supervising and implementing the Collective Labor Agreements and other policies at the Corporation; Report on usage of 2012 Welfare Fund, Bonus Fund and plan for 2013 Welfare Fund, Bonus Fund. The Conference also cast votes of confidence on key posts and responded to employees’ proposals.
At the Conference, teams and individuals with outstanding achievements were honored to receive noble rewards. In particular, the Corporate Trade Union was awarded the flag of Emulation titled “Excellent and strong Trade Union at Grassroots level” by Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Thao – Deputy Party Secretary, Head of the Supervisory Board and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung – Vice Chairman of PVFCCo’s Trade Union, Standing Party Committee Member/ Trade Union Chairman/ Deputy Director of Phu My Plant were honored to receive the crystal memorial from the Central Board of People Mobilization for their dedication to the work of people mobilization; Merit Certificates from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, PetroVietnam and PVFCCo were presented to teams and individuals … Especially, the titles “Team of the year” and “Face of the year” (for divisions in PVFCCo), a new form of commendation has been currently applied on trial basis at PVFCCo. The selection process was strictly carried out. Leaders of PVFCCo, heads of PVFCCo’s departments and members cast secret ballots to pick out 01 team and 01 individual of the Year 2012 for the Human Resource Organization and Training and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luan – Chief of PVFCCo’s Office.
At closing, to demonstrate a resolve to successfully implement the Resolution just adopted by the Conference, representative leaders of PVFCCo and its members firmly held each other’s hands in the spirit “Overcome challenges for success” and promote the launch of emulation in 2013 with the slogan “Try hard and success ensured”.
