In the morning of October 2, 2015 in Vung Tau City, the Association for Promoting Education of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province celebrated Vietnam’s Education Promoting Day (October 2, 2008 – October 2, 2015) and the 15th anniversary of the province’s Education Promoting Fund. The ceremony’s attendees included: Mr. Le Thanh Dung – Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Do Quoc Hung – Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promoting Education and leaders of the province.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung – Deputy Director of Phu My Fertilizer Plant represented PVFCCo to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Executive Committee of Vietnam’s Central Association for Promoting Education; this certificate was awarded to the organization that “has many excellent achievements and makes active contribution to activities of promoting education, promoting talent and developing the study society of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province”. In addition, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung granted Scholarships for Promoting Education to pupils on occasion of the new school year of 2015.
Reportedly, since 2012 until now, PVFCCo has actively partnered the Association for Promoting Education of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province in education promoting activities. PVFCCo sponsored the Association with the total fund of 400 million VND to grant support to poor pupils and students with excellent academic achievements, helping them overcome difficulties.
