Within the framework of an assignment to accompany the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and the Leaders of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) in a visit and mission to the Kingdom of Thailand from 17th to 18th August 2017, Mr. Doan Van Nhuom, President & CEO of PVFCCo, participated in the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among three subsidiaries of PVN: PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation (PVFCCo), Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (BSR), PetroVietNam Ca Mau Fertilizer Company Limited (PVCFC), and SCG Chemicals – Thailand, regarding the principles of cooperation and exchange of experience among the parties with particular focus on maintenance services for oil and gas processing plants.
In addition to the signing of this MoU, this assignment was also an opportunity for PVN and its subsidiaries to promote its potential to Thais investors, opening up future investment cooperation opportunities, and helping with speeding up restructuring process, etc.
It is known that SCG Chemicals was founded in 1983 and is one of the biggest petrochemical corporations in Thailand, who is highly regarded for its product quality, management, and performance in the region and in the world.
