On 25 and 26/09/2014, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held a Seminar on Guiding Legal Documents on Safety – Health – Environment (SHE). Participants included SHE leaders and workersat factories and member companies of PVFCCo.
Attendees and speakers at the seminar were Mr. Dang Van Loi – Director of Department of Environmental Appraisal and Impact Assessment – Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Assoc.Dr. Pham Van Loi – Director of Institute of Science for Environmental Management – Vietnam Environment Administration.
The seminar helped to raise the attendees’s awareness of law compliance on SHE at PVFCCo; update legal documents and guide to apply legal requirements to PVFCCo’s operations; resolve problems arising during application of such legal documents; assist managers and SHE workers at factories and member companies in SHE management, in order to ensure full compliance with SHE requirements. In addition, the experts attending the seminar also provided new information in the 2014 Law on Environmental Protection, relating to environmental protection requirements, especially the new ones applicable to the projects facilitating PVFCCo in the implementation of new projects…
