PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation (PVFCCo) starts commercial production of Phu My urea + KeBo as from 2021.
Phu My + KeBo Fertilizer is a rich nitrogen fertilizer (46% N-Nitrogen) added on with two significant micronutrients (TE) of Zinc (Zn) and Boron (B) with a total content of up to nearly 1,000ppm. Besides Nitrogen – a vital macronutrient for plant growth, zinc plays a significant role in the formation of chlorophyll, promoting photosynthesis, nitrogen and phosphate absorption of plants; synthesis of growth hormones, inhibiting pests thanks to "Zinc armor ++"; Bo is essential for cell fission, pollen formation and fertilization; enhancing pollen-dust vitality, increasing fruiting rate and lessening fruit loss. The Zinc – Bo combination also plays an essential role in the synthesis of proteins, lipids, raise of the content of sugar and vitamins in the bulbs, fruits, seeds, preventing decomposition, prolonging post-harvest product preservation.

According to Mr. Luong Duc Tri – Head of Soil Research Discipline, Central Highlands Fertilizer, Soil and Environment Research Center, Zinc and Boron's addition to crops is very important because these trace elements are often found insufficient in the soil and help significantly increase productivity and quality of agro-products.
Evidence is shown in the use of fertilizer Phu My + KeBo in some mass production areas such as Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, Dong Thap, specifically in Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh's vegetable farm in the Phong Hoa commune, Lai Vung district, Dong Thap province (growing broccoli, lemon, purple and lily flowers), where Phu My + KeBo Fertilizer is used in the last crop. Despite extremely harsh weather (caused by a serious drought), the agro-plants were growing very fast, featuring green leaves of vibrant color, big plate, thick and glossy looking. Branches far reach, flowers bloom evenly, fruits are evenly formed with a bright and beautiful color, higher productivity and earning as compared to the previous crop.

The debut of products such as Phu My Fertilizer + KeBo has enriched Phu My product portfolio with an aim to enhance vital micronutrients, which are often found deficient in the soil, to provide more solutions for nutritional optimization, to help increase productivity & quality, inhibit pests and other unfavorable surroundings, following GAP goals.
