On May 22nd, 2014 at Ton Duc Thang University, Phu My Fertilizer Plant’s experts and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology’s lecturers joined and made presentation at the 2014 International Conference on Information Resources Management (CONF- IRM 2014).
At the conference this year, the paper of the group of authors from Phu My Fertilizer Plant including Nguyen Minh Tam – expert of Measurement – Automation Workshop, Nguyen Huu Quoc Dat – expert of Measurement – Automation Workshop, Pham Quang Hieu – expert of Production Technology Department and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology’s lecturers was chosen for presentation. Titled “Optimizing Boiler Performance with Data Mining” on studying the method to optimize boiler performance 10B8001 by clustering and neural network approaches in data mining, the paper was won attention and appreciation from the association. This method is a practical application currently deployed in Phu My Fertilizer Plant.
At the conference, Phu My Fertilizer Plant’s experts took the opportunity to learn and share experiences in various topics with members from many countries all around the world, thereby obtaining more knowledge and experiences in the effective management of information resources.
Reportedly, the International Conference on Information Resources Management (Conf-IRM) is the international conference held annually by Association for Information Systems (AIS) aimed at connecting researchers from across the globe to share contemporary research on developments in the fields of information systems and information management. CONF- IRM 2014 with theTheme: “Big Data – Revolutionizing How We Live, Work, and Think” took place within three days from 21-23/5/2014 with the participation of the representatives of the universities from New Zealand, France, Germany, UK and Vietnam.The conference is a big event for the researchers and enterprises who are concerned about the effective management of information resources in organizations.
