This morning (October 25, 2014), in Hanoi, Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry cooperated with Labour newspaper in organizing a ceremony to honor “Employee-Oriented Companies” for the first time, in 2014.
“Employee-Oriented Company” is the title to honor enterprises with good working conditions, harmony in interests of enterprises, benefits of employees and society interests. They are enterprises well combining implementation of Vietnam labour law regulations to ensure employees’ benefits and performance of international standards. PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation was honored to be awarded this title. At the ceremony, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong –Chairman of PVFCCo’s Trade Union received this noble award on behalf of PVFCCo.
Reportedly, the title “Employee-Oriented Company” has strict evaluation criteria including 104 criteria built by experts on labour and trade union, ensuring close reflection of actual situation of using and treating personnel in term of income, training, working environment, social welfare and physical and spiritual training activities…Overcoming 1,000 registered participants with 3 rounds of scoring by the judgment council, 85 excellent enterprises with highest scores were selected to be honored, including PVFCCo.
