PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) has just launched a new product line of N.P.K. Phu My – microbiology. This is an inorganic compound fertilizer N.P.K. containing beneficial microorganisms pioneered by PVFCCo to produce and supply to the market.

The idea of ​​this new product started from understanding the needs of farmers about having a mixed inorganic fertilizer product that not only ensures high yields for plants but also improves the quality of crops and land. Suitable to the conditions and level of cultivation in Vietnam. The results of scientific research show that the breakthrough and most effective solution meets the maximum expectations. A beneficial spore-forming microorganism strain is added to inorganic N.P.K. fertilizer granules to decompose cellulose, insoluble organic compounds, and post-harvest residues left in the soil, making the soil fertile and porous… But this is a challenging problem, many times more complex. With the addition of microorganisms to organic fertilizers because inorganic fertilizers are salt complexes. Therefore, PVFCCo has worked diligently and persistently in coordination with the authorities, experts, and partners of the US Biowish Corporation to carry out additional testing of the Bacillus spp strain. Inorganic Phu My N.P.K. conducted tests on many key crop groups in Vietnam, such as industrial crops and fruit trees of high economic value… and gave outstanding results, approved by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Plant Protection issued a Decision on the recognition of circulation and fertilizer code.

Meeting the right purpose, this product is simple to use as a normal N.P.K. but has a big difference; that is, it contains spores of cellulose-degrading microorganisms of Bacillus spp. high density (1 x 106 CFU/g). When applied to the soil, N.P.K. granules containing these microorganisms provide nutrients like normal N.P.K. At the same time, the microorganisms present in the granules will proliferate and develop. Grows in the soil environment decompose organic matter and by-products, make the soil fertile, porous, hold water well, and develop roots. This is an advanced solution, suitable for almost All types of crops, different types of soil; both contribute to ensuring crop productivity, are convenient, suitable for farming according to G.A.P. standards, safety, and improve the land towards sustainable development. Currently, only PVFCCo can do this for the line of inorganic N.P.K. fertilizers containing microorganisms produced in Vietnam.
