Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Mai Minh Phuong believed that the fresh water treatment system for Ia Chia Border Post would help alleviate the shortage of domestic water source, ensuring good health for officers, soldiers in service of protecting the national sovereignty, territory and political security, social safety and security at the border region.
On behalf of the Commander of Border Guard, Colonel Pham Ngoc Phu expressed his thank to PVFCCo’s concern, help and support full of human kindness, and also considered this activity as a gesture of encouraging officers and soldiers firmly holding to their weapon to protect the sovereignty and security at the country border.
Reportedly, Ia Chia Border Post is stationed at the border area at Ia Grai District, Gia Lai Province, bordering Cambodia. Due to harsh topographic and weather conditions and inacessible transport all year round, the Border Post mainly used reserved rain water, and the water source could hardly satisfy daily activities. The operational works has a significant meaning to the soldiers here.
