On November 20, 2013, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) and its member, Central PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo Central), in collaboration with the Binh Dinh Province Red Cross, have implemented an emergency relief program for flood victims in 4 communes of Tay Son District and An Nhon District, Binh Dinh Province. This program belongs to the emergency relief package worth more than 1 billion dong from the society security fund of PVFCCo to help families suffering from severe of recent floods to get back to their normal lives.
Accordingly, PVFCCo has urgently handed 500 gifts to Binh Tuong and Binh Thanh Communes – Tay Son Distric – and 500 gifts to Nhon Phong and Nhon Hanh Communes – An Nhon Distric – with the value of 300,000 VND apiece, including essential goods of 5 kg of rice, a carton of instant noodles, fish sauce, canned milk, and a set of mosquito-net and blanket. Besides, they have also donated 1.5 million VND to each family of the deceased, and 1 million VND to each having its house collapsed.
On Nov 21, 2013,Central PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo Central), kept working with Quang Ngai Province Red Cross in deploying an emergency relief program to flood victims in 8 communes of Mo Duc District and Nghia Hanh District, Quang Ngai Province. PVFCCo has urgently donated 500 gifts in 4 communes – Duc Chanh, Duc Hiep, Duc Nhuan, and Duc Hoa – in Mo Duc District and 500 gifts in 4 communes – Hanh Thien, Hanh Thinh, Hanh Chinh Dong, Hanh Chinh Tay – in Nghia Hanh District. Each gift package was worth 300,000 VND, including essential goods of 5 kg of rice, a carton of instant noodles, fish sauce, canned milk, and a set of mosquito-net and blanket. Besides, this program has also provided 1.5 million VND to each family ofthe deceased and 1 million VND to each having its house collapsed in Mo Duc, Nghia Hanh, and Minh Long Districts.
So, only 4 days after the floods came and caused damages in Central provinces, PVFCCo was the first enterprise to come and provide reliefs directly to people here. This significant and urgent relief activity has been highly appreciated by compatriots as well as local authorities. The inhabitants in these areas were deeply moved with PVFCCo’s gifts.
