On 09 February 2015, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) in collaboration with the local authority carried out its CSR programs in Thanh Hoa. Attendees of the ceremony were Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – PVFCCo’s President & CEO, PVFCCo North’s leaders and local leaders.
In the morning, the Inauguration ceremony for the Kindergarten’s Administration and Classroom Building took place and New Year gifts were also donated at Hoang Quang Commune, Thanh Hoa City. The Administration and Classroom Building of Hoang Quang Commune Kindergarten was constructed from September, 2014 with the total investment of VND 2.8 billion, including VND 2.5 billion sponsored by PVFCCo. The building has two floors, covering an area of 465m2, including 5 working rooms for teachers and 3 classrooms. Hoang Quang Commune is an underdeveloped commune of Thanh Hoa City, and its kindergarten locations are degraded or damaged. The Administration and Classroom Building is an important item of the kindergarten complex built at the commune, aimed at planning and uniting all kindergarten locations and creating better teaching and learning conditions for teachers and pupils. Simultaneously, on the occasion of At Mui Lunar New Year, PVFCCo also donated 260 “Enjoy Tet with Phu My” gifts worth VND 130 million for poor households and beneficiaries under preferential policy at the commune.
In the afternoon of the same day, PVFCCo organized its 2015 “Enjoy Tet with Phu My” program at Hoang Duc Commune, Hoang Hoa District. In the program, PVFCCo donated 270 gifts worth VND 135 million in total, including necessaries used in Tet holidays and cash for poor households and beneficiaries under preferential policy at the commune.
