This morning (04/02/2015), PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held the Conference to review 2014 HSE activities and implement the 2015 action plan at Phu My Fertilizer Plant.
Attendees of the Conference, from PetroVietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), included Mr. Le Hong Thai – Head of HSE Division; PVFCCo’s representatives included Mr. Le Cu Tan – Chairman, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President & CEO; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien – Vice Chairwoman and representatives of BOD, BOM, Union organizations and especially HSE personnel of PVFCCo and member companies.
At the Conference, Mr. Hoang Viet Dung – PVFCCo’s Vice President presented his report on PVFCCo’s HSE achievements in 2014 including: no casualty and no environmental violation, timely response and quick recovery of Plant’s incidents; information updating and preparing available plans for security response, violence control, flood prevention and fighting; maintenance of effectiveness of HSEQ management system.
After that, the Conference also listened to Mr. Le Quoc Hung – Head of HSE Divisionpresenting his draft 2015 HSEQ plan. The participants actively presented speeches and contributed their opinions to 2015 HSE tasks.
Addressing the Conference, Mr. Le Hong Thai affirmed remarkable contribution of HSE tasks to PVFCCo’s production and business achievements in 2014. He also reminded PVFCCo of some important issues in 2015: enhancement of labor safety inspection and supervision; good control of stationary, moving and technological equipment, active remedy of occurring incidents; good preparation of emergency response plans and strengthening of propaganda on labour safety tasks.
In closing the Conference, PVFCCo leadership praised efforts and HSE achievements in 2014 of PVFCCo and emphasized on further enhancement of incident monitoring, prevention and detection for timely handling purpose. The leadership also instructed PVFCCo to select better regular health examination service for PVFCCo employees to help with early disease screening, avoiding any unfortunate consequences as a result of late detection.
As part of the Conference, PVFCCo awarded Certificates of Merit to 16 teams and 27 individuals for their excellent HSE achievements in 2014.
