On April 12 and 13, 2018, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) holdsa class on “Consulting and imparting of legal knowledge in chemicals” for 50 employees involved in production and trading of chemicals at PVFCCo’s headquarter and transmitted online to member units.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet – PVFCCo’s Vice President affirmed that chemicals was an important business segment of PVFCCo. The Government just recently amended and supplemented a series of legal documents related to chemicals field and it was really necessary that PVFCCo organized a class to consult and impart legal knowledge in chemicals. The Vice President urged the attending employees to take the class very seriously, pay attention to and learn relevant legal knowledge for work in compliance with regulations of law.
Guest speakers at the class wereMr. Van Huy Vuong (Deputy Manager of Vietnam Chemicals Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade), Mr. Nguyen Van Hai (HCMC Departmentof Industry and Trade); Nguyen Huynh Anh (VPI-LAB – National Petroleum Institute) and representatives of Hoa Phat Environmental Safety Engineering Co., Ltd. In the program, participants were briefed onDecree 113/2017 /ND-CP detailing and guiding the implementation of some articles of the Law on Chemicals; Circular No. 32/2017/TT-BCT of Ministry of Industry and Trade detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Chemicals and the Government”s Decree No. 113/2017/ND-CP dated 9 October 2017, detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Chemicals and a number of relevant legal documents on chemicals remaining valid for implementation in Vietnam; updated on regulations applicable to management of chemicals currently used, manufactured and traded in PVFCCo …; And finally came a Q&A section on chemicals -related issues.
