In the afternoon of November 07, 2017, at the head office of the Corporation and streaming online to all of the subsidiaries, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held the Conference in response to the “Legal Day” of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Among the attendees at the Conference, there were deputies from Plant Protection Department – Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, including Mr. Le Van Thiet – Manager of Fertilizer Control Department, and Mr. Nghiem Quang Tuan – Manager of Inspection and Legal Department; as well as deputies from PVFCCo, including Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – President & CEO of PVFCCo, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong – Vice President of PVFCCo, and other staffs from Divisions and PVFCCo’s subsidiaries.

At the Conference, the representative of Legal Division presented to the deputies the report on the implementation of A003 Procedure: “Procedure for submission of Legal Inquiries and other requests” of PVFCCo in 2016 and the first half of 2017. After that, the officers of Plant Protection Department gave an introduction report on a number of matters under the Decree No. 108/2017/ND-CP dated September 20, 2017 on fertilizer management, including the necessity, perspectives of formulation of the Decree, and especially the new provisions of the Decree, such as regulations on testing of fertilizers, conditions for grant of the certificate for sales of fertilizers, etc. The deputies and attending speakers also discussed and exchanged positively on matters to be clarified in the Decree, as well as a number of specific situations that may be directly related to PVFCCo and its subsidiaries.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Doan Van Nhuom and Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong put an emphasis on the important role of laws, enforcement of laws, and compliance with laws in PVFCCo as a leading national manufacturer and distributor of fertilizers, and that PVFCCo always urged its staffs to strictly comply with provisions of laws. In addition, they also expressed sincere thanks to the officers of Plant Protection Department for their timely advice, communication, and responses for clarification of new provisions of the law on fertilizer management that were essential and helpful to staffs of PVFCCo.

Also at the Conference, the Management of the Corporation awarded merit certificates to individuals and teams of PVFCCo for their excellent achievements in the communication and education of laws and formulation of internal legal documents of PVFCCo.
