On June 24, 2013, at its headquarters, PVFCCo held a meeting to partially sum up the two-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No. 03-CT/TW on continued acceleration of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example and its business operations in the first 6 months of 2013.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Pham Xuan Canh – Party Deputy Permanent Secretary of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Mr. Tran Quang Dung – Member of the Party Standing Committee cum Party Propaganda Chief of the Group. From PVFCCo’s leadership were Mr. Bui Minh Tien – Party Secretary cum Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD), Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – Member of PVN’s Party Executive Committee cum Party Deputy Secretary cum General Director of PVFCCo, Mrs. Tran Thi Phuong Thao – Party Deputy Secretary cum Head of the Board of Supervisors, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hien – Member of the Party Standing Committee cum Vice-Chairwoman of the BOD together with members of the Party Executive Committee, BOD, Board of Management, leaders of the masses; heads of departments and offices; secretaries and leaders of companies directly under PVFCCo, and particularly the attendance of 29 representative individuals selected in member companies by their outstanding achievements in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
The meeting was started by a report partially summing up the two-year implementation of Directive No. 03-CT/TW presented by Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Member of the Party Standing Committee cum Party Propaganda Chief, accordingly after two years of implementation of the Directive, there were changes in Party members and staff’s awareness and specific actions, most seen in self-cultivation and training to enhance revolutionary moral, step-by-step roll back deterioration of political ideology, moral, way of living; good performance of political tasks and works to build a clean and strong Party…
Next, delegates listened to Mr. Cao Hoai Duong’s report on business operations of the corporation in the first 6 months of 2013, as well as tasks and solutions to be done for efficient operations in the last 6 months of the year. In the first 6 months, thanks to close direction of PVN, supports of shareholders, clients, partners, in particular efforts of the whole staff, PVFCCo achieved important production, business, revenue and profit targets ahead of schedule, at the same time had changes in quality, making a positive perspective and constituting a leverage for the implementation of the last sixth-month plan and finishing ahead of schedule the year’s plan.
Delegates also listened to representatives’ speeches on initiative emulation (Phu My Fertilizer Plant); improvement of way of doing, thrift practice and wastefulness combat (Management Division); innovative solutions and enhancement of quality of work (PVFCCo North), speeches delivered by representatives of SBD, PVFCCo Central, discussions and exchanges with individuals honored “The Nationwide young skilled worker”…
On behalf of PVN’s leadership, Mr. Pham Xuan Canh praised PVFCCo’s achievements in both the two-year implementation of Directive No. 03-CT/TW and business operations in the first 6 months of the year. He hoped that PVFCCo’s leadership and staff could bring into play these achievements and well finish the business production plan of 2013 ahead of schedule, in particular important missions such as retain and expand market, develop new products, staff planning and manage staff planning…
It was proclaimed in the meeting the decisions of staff planning under management of PVN, notes and exchanges on staff planning between PVN and PVFCCo’s Party Committees.
The honoring of 29 collectives and individuals well following Directive No. 03-CT/TW and 3 individuals awarded “The Nationwide young skilled worker 2013” and proclamation of staff appointment has successfully closed today’s meeting. Other meetings of member companies will take place this week with proclamation of staff appointment for these companies.
