On April 21, at Truong Sa Islands district, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province has launched the inauguration ceremony of Truong Sa Elementary School on the Truong Sa Island (Spratly Island).
This is the first school constructed at Truong Sa Islands district by the funding program “All for dear pupils of Truong Sa Islands” launched by Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund in coordination with Phap Luat Thanh Pho Ho Chi Minh (Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper). By the wish to give facilities to teachers and pupils on Truong Sa Islands for better teaching and learning, PVFCCo’s leadership had decided to join this program.
The construction of Truong Sa Elementary School was started in October 2012 and finished 6 months ahead of schedule. The school consists of classrooms, a library, a staff room and a room for public service worth 10 billion dongs of total investment.
At the inauguration ceremony, PVFCCO, some groups and individuals were awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee for their contributions to the program “All for dear pupils of Truong Sa Islands”.
