On October 13th 2011, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) donated 25,000 packs of Urea Phu My to support the dike protection, flood control for Dong Thap and An Giang provinces, which are worst affected by the recent floods in the Mekong Delta region. Particularly, Dong Thap province received 15,000 packages and An Giang province received 10,000 packages with a total donation value of VND 100 million. The above packages were handed directly by PVFCCo to Committee for Storm and Flood Control in those two provinces. In addition, in order to overcome the consequences of the storm number 04 & 05 and floods in the South West region, PVFCCo will hold various activities to support farmers in the areas affected by natural disasters. These activities will take place in October and November in 2011.
