In an action scheme to prepare for fertilizer export markets from 2012 when urea domestic supply is expected to surpass demand, PVFCCo task delegation headed by Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President & CEO – has paid a visit to and made market survey about Myanmar market. The delegation has participated a working session with the Vietnam Embassy in Myanmar, leaders from Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as many representatives on behalf of Myanmar enterprises to learn about demand and seek for supports PVFCCo’s operation in this market.
After the working session, leaders from Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and enterprise representatives unanimously express their support and committed to help PVFCCo unveiling business & marketing activities in Myanmar soon.
Myanmar has an area of agricultural land as twice as that of Vietnam, demand for fertilizers is therefore quite huge and is a potential market for development cooperation and fertilizer sales network. Initially, PVFCCo will conduct the necessary legal procedures to prepare the business, working with potential partners to expedite the preparation of business in this market.
