HCM City, 23 July, 2015 – PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – stock code DPM, Phu My fertilizer manufacturer and trader) said that its member company in the Middle Region and Central Highland, Central PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo Central), officially listed 10 million shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) with the stock code PCE on 23/07/2015 and the starting price of VND 15,000 per share.
PVFCCo Central is currently a fertilizer and chemical trader in the Middle Region and Central Highland – a key region of the country in terms of agricultural production, concentrating many crops with high economic value for export such as: coffee, pepper… with the total annual demand of inorganic fertilizers up to 1.7 million tons. PVFCCo currently holds 75% stock in PVFCCo Central. After 7 years of operation, PVFCCo Central has built a distribution system throughout provinces and cities in the region and a warehousing system with a total capacity of 60 thousand tons, meeting more than 70% fertilizer demands and confirming its position as a professional and reputable fertilizer and chemical trader in this region.
In 2014, PVFCCo Central”s fertilizer trading volume reached 329.7 thousand tons, equivalent to 102% of the year plan, in which Phu My Urea reached 230.8 thousand tons. The revenue reached VND 2,352 billion, equivalent to 101% of the year plan.
For Phu My NPK, Phu My Kali, Phu My SA, especially Phu My NPK which has been distributed officially from 2012, the growth rate of the average trading volume reached more than 150% per year. It is expected that by 2015, the trading volume of these products will keep increasing more than 50%, in which Phu My NPK with high quality will raise strongly.
In 2015, PVFCCo Central plans to gain the revenue of VND 2,186 billion and the pre-tax profit of VND 19.47 billion. In the long term, PVFCCo Central aims at maintaining the sustainable business, ensuring the sufficient and timely supply source for the market, retaining the market share of more than 70% fertilizer demand in the Middle Region and Central Highland, and gradually occupying the market share of other fertilizer products, especially in the segment of high quality NPK produced by chemical technology.
