On November 26, 2015, at An Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province, Central Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo Central) cooperated with the Binh Dinh Farmers’ Union in organizing the conference titled “Training for the Farmers’ Union in monitoring skills and in law compliance supervision on management of production, sales and usage of agricultural supplies”.
Attendees included Mr. Do Thien Che – Vice Chairman of the province’s Farmers’ Union; Mr. Nguyen Van Nam – Chief of Inspection and Legislation Division – Plant Protection Sub-Department, Mr. Tran Van Ky – Vice Captain – Anti-Counterfeit Team – Market Control Sub-Department of Binh Dinh Province, Mr. Mai Minh Phuong – Vice Director of PVFCCo Central and more than 150 officers as chairmen, vice chairmen, core members of farmer’s unions of communes, wards and townships at An Nhon Town.
The program provided information and skills in social monitoring and agricultural material supervision pursuant to Decision No. 217-QĐ/TW dated Dec 12, 2013 of the Politburo to protect legitimate privileges and benefits for member farmers, promoting the roles and responsibilities of farmers’ unions in implementing legal regulations on management, production, sales and usage of agricultural supplies.
At the conference, PVFCCo Central representatives introduced the efficient process to use Phu My fertilizer products for primary crops in Binh Dinh province. They also provided information on Phu My fertilizer product package’s identity marks and shared experience and recommendation on avoiding fake or low quality fertilizers.
Reportedly, the Training Conference at An Nhon Town is a pilot model of Binh Dinh Farmers’ Union in implementing Decision No. 217-QĐ/TW, aimed at learning experience lessons for further expansion throughout the whole province in the future.
