This morning (December 10, 2013), PVFCCo held the Ceremony to award Phu My Fertilizer scholarships for academic year 2013 – 2014 to students in HCM City.
Attendees of this Ceremony, from the Command of Navy, included Colonel Nguyen Hai Trieu; from PVFCCo leaders, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hien – Vice Chairwoman; Mrs. Tran Thi Phuong Thao – Chief Supervisor, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of PVFCCo’s Trade Union and teachers from recipient universities, parents and 152 excellent students winning Phu My Fertilizer scholarships.
At the ceremony, PVFCCo awarded 3 Honor scholarships valued at 20 million dongs each and 149 Consolation scholarships valued at 5 million dongs each, totaling 805 million dongs, to students from University of Economics, University of Technical Education, HCM City University of Technology, HCM City University of Natural Sciences, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Banking University and students being children of officers and soldiers of the Navy following universities in the South.
Addressing the ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hien congratulated students for winning Phu My Fertilizer scholarships and hoped Phu My Fertilizer scholarship to become a companion of students on their path of knowledge acquisition, contributing to the social development and the country’s prosperity.
Also at the ceremony, the Phu My Fertilizer Scholarship Council answered questions relating to production and business activities of PVFCCo, scholarship program, recruitment process, and job opportunities at PVFCCo.
Also in the morning of December 10, 2013, PVFCCo awarded 13 scholarships including 1 Honor scholarship and 12 Consolation scholarships to students being children of PVFCCo’s employees with good academic achievements.
Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet – Vice President attended the ceremony and awarded scholarships to students.
