In the afternoon of November 6, at PVFCCo’s head office, the PVFCCo’s scholarship ceremony of the school year 2011 – 2012 was carried out to award 10 students who were children of PVFCCo’s employees and qualified for incentive scholarship (each scholarship was worth VND 5,000,000).
Attendees of the scholarship ceremony included Mr. Bui Minh Tien – PVFCCo’s Chairman; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, PVFCCo”s President & CEO, Chairman of PVFCCo’s scholarship Council; Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet, PVFCCo’s Deputy President & CEO, Standing Vice Chairman of PVFCCo’s scholarship Council, Mr Pham Manh Thuan, Member of PVFCCo’s Union Standing Committee and representing PVFCCo’s functional departments, students and their parents.
Addressing the scholarship ceremony, PVFCCo’s leaders emphasized that this was a very special and meaningful scholarship ceremony, they warmly commended the children with outstanding study records. With these achievements, these children were pride of not only their family but also PVFCCo’s great family and the scholarships from the employers of their parents would help them “nurture their dream”, continue striving to learn and practise well. PVFCCo’s leadership also hoped that, after receiving scholarships and attending the meaningful ceremony at the work place of their parents, learning more information on PVFCCo and PVFCCo’s scholarship program, they would have opportunities to receive scholarships for the following school years and especially following in their parents to become PVFCCo’s employees. At the same time, PVFCCo’s leadership and the Scholarship Council also provided more information on PVFCCo’s scholarship program for 2012-2013 school year, which was expected to include one honor scholarship worth VND 20 million and 30 incentive scholarships worth VND 5,000,000 each for children of PVFCCo’s employees qualified to receive the scholarship according to the promulgated Regulation on scholarship.
Speaking at scholarship ceremony, the students and their parents were very moved, honored, and proud of their study achievements, proud of PVFCCo’s culture tradition, thankful for a very meaningful scholarship program of PVFCCo and commiting to keep studying well to become useful citizens, contributing to the country and society development as well as improving strong attachment and devotion to PVFCCo.
