Ho Chi Minh City, 31 October 2016- PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – Stock code: DPM, producer and trader of Phu My fertilizers) announced that PVFCCo was honored to receive “Enterprise for Employees’ award and Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister for outstanding achievements in taking good care of workers.
“Outstanding Employers” is the official award co-organized by Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2016. The award aims at raising the society’s awareness of the most valuable resource – i.e. human, urging enterprises to take better care of their workers, creating incentives for economic development.
In 2016, 68 enterprises best satisfying the criteria on worker policies were voted to be listed in the “Outstanding Employers” ranking table. From these 68 enterprises, the Award Council selected top 15 outstanding enterprises to present the “Outstanding Employers” award for the first time, and 12 out of these 15 enterprises were selected for the Prime Minister to award Certificates of Merit. PVFCCo is one of top 12 outstanding enterprises.
Following the two straight winnings of Top 10 Vietnam Gold Star Award for Best Enterprise with internal and external social responsibility, this achievement of PVFCCo once again affirms that PVFCCo is one of the leading enterprises in taking good care of workers.
Mr. Le Cu Tan, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of PVFCCo’s BOD said: “Nearly 1,600 employees in PVFCCo are guaranteed with good income as well as professional working environment; training, cultural and spiritual life activities always win great attention and well taken care of. PVFCCo is also one of few enterprises applying the regime on 3P salary payment, special policies for highly-skilled experts to attract and retain talents. Generally, PVFCCo’s personnel enjoy many welfare policies better than those required by regulations. That said, the policies are the reason why employees are always devoted, dedicated to PVFCCo and constantly keep up with their creativity, promoting sustainable development of PVFCCo.”
