Ho Chi Minh City, on November 04th, 2016 – PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – stock code DPM, producer and trader of Phu My fertilizer products) announced that PVFCCo was honorably voted in “Top 5 Listed Company with Best IR Activities in 2016” by investors and financial institutions and “Top 5 Listed Company with IR activities most highly appreciated by financial institutions in 2016”.
At the invitation of the Organizer, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien – Vice Chairwoman, Information Discloser, took part in the Announcement Ceremony of 2016 IR Result, the Talk Show “IR – Key to increase the corporate value” and the Launching Ceremony of Vietnam Association of Financial Executives”.
At the Ceremony to announce the voting result, PVFCCo and 04 other listed companies namely Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), FPT Corporation, Khang Dien Housing JSC, Nam Long Group were honored for being ranked “Top 5 Listed Company with IR activities most highly rated by financial institutions in 2016”. Especially, PVFCCo together with 04 other listed companies namely Vinamilk, FPT, Khang Dien and An Phat Plastic and Green Environment JSC continued to be included in “Top 5 Listed Company with best IR activities in 2016″ by financial institutions and investors” community.
The IR Poll 2016 was launched by Vietnam Association of Financial Executives (VAFE) and the financial stock portal www.vietstock.vn, who jointly surveyed 639 listed companies on both stock exchanges and 38 of which were nominated for voting. Accordingly, nominated companies were businesses that had always strictly abided by the regulations of information disclosure on the securities market in a “Transparent, Fast and Effective” manner, implementing financial governance for the benefit of shareholders and investors.
The survey was carried out through 2 steps including: (1) A comprehensive survey on the responsibility for information disclosure on Vietnam stock market; (2) an open vote (http://ir.vietstock.vn) for investors along with assessments from financial institutions. Especially, in 2016, in an effort to improve the quality and standard in evaluating and voting of businesses, the survey was added with several assessment criteria by privileged financial institutions on Vietnam stock market.
2016 is the 6th consecutive year of IR survey implementation and PVFCCo”s 4th consecutive year of being included in Top 5 Listed Company with best IR activities, helping proper assessment of the corporate value, boosting stock liquidity on the market and assuring benefits of shareholders and investors.
