On 23 December 2014, the Ceremony to announce and honour businesses having their products recognized as National Brand was jointly held in Hanoi by the National Trademark Council and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Deputy Minister Hoang Trung Hai, State and Party leaders, and representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade attended the ceremony to praise businesses.
At the ceremony, PVFCCo’s Phu My Urea brand was officially recorgnized as National Brand 2014 and has become an official partner of “Vietnam Value- National Brand” Award jointly organized by the National Trademark Council and Ministry of Industry and Trade. On behalf of PVFCCo, Mr. Pham Tran Nguyen – PVFCCo North’s Deputy Director received this Certificate.
The recognition ofPhu My Urea brand as National Brand in “Agricultural supplies” reflects the acknowledgment of PVFCCo’s Phu My Urea products by the State and fellow farmers, reaffirming the leading position of Phu My urea in the fertilizer market. At the same time, this National Brand has been and is extended to demanding markets overseas, such as: New Zealand, Jordan, Korea.
Reportedly, “Vietnam Value” is the only program deployed by the Vietnamese Government with a view to promote national images, national brands with strong and top prestigious brands nationwide. This is a long term promotion program aiming at building images of Vietnam associated with brands achieving values of “Quality-Innovation, Creation-Leadership capacity”. In the final round this year, the National Trademark Council selected 63 brands out of 1,500 contestant brands in 11 production and service sectors satisfying the program criteria to be awarded the “Vietnam Value” and to become official partners of the program.
