On a peaceful autumn morning, as vast sugarcane fields stretched out, a promising collaboration emerged between the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo), Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (TTC AgriS), and scientists from the Tay Nguyen Soil, Fertilizer, and Environment Research Center. Dedicated farmers, committed business units, and passionate scientists joined forces to embark on a soil analysis project in the sugarcane growing region, driven by the belief that through relentless efforts, sugarcane would become greener, sweeter, and bring a better life to farmers.

The scientists began by analyzing the initially barren soil in the sugarcane-growing regions. With the cooperation of PVFCCo, TTC Agris, and scientists from the Tay Nguyen Soil, Fertilizer, and Environment Research Center, the project started with diligent steps of scientists across the vast sugarcane fields in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak. They carefully collected soil samples, akin to gathering the sweat of farmers, to bring into the laboratory. Detailed analyses were conducted, with each soil sample telling its unique story about pH levels, organic matter content, nutrient elements like N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, and cation exchange capacity (CEC). From these stories, scientists derived recommendations for appropriate fertilization, helping the soil and plants harmonize and nourish each other optimally.

From this understanding of the soil, TTC AgriS’s vast sugarcane fields not only received a suitable product, Phu My NPK 20-10-10 +TE, of European quality but also gained access to smart and precise fertilization solutions. These solutions help save fertilizers, avoid waste, and protect the environment. Initially nutrient-poor, the sugarcane fields, once resembling mere grass patches, became fertile and lush green after several crop cycles of special care. Healthy sugarcane plants basked in the sun, vividly demonstrating the project’s success. Yields increased, sugarcane quality improved, and farmers, with beaming smiles, clearly felt the positive changes.
