Highland rainy season is a unique characteristic of climate zone. Unlike others, the Highland has two very distinctive seasons: “rainy and dry.” Highland rainy season typically starts from May and lasts until the end of November. Unlike the extreme heat in dry season, there is much persistant rain that may last for a couple of days.
Highland rainy season refreshes the land and sky and clears away red soil layer for young shoots to grow strongly. After dry season, gardens of coffee, pepper, durian, avocado, etc. are replenished by fresh rainwater, which bring the hope to hard-working farmers for bountiful harvests.
