On October 5, Phu My Fertilizer Plant held a conference in Phan Thiet to summarize reports and learn from experience on short-term repair works at the Plant.
Attending the conference were Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President & CEO of PVFCCo, members of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management, leaders from member units and 137 delegates of typical specialist, engineers and workers of the Plant.
At the conference, it was reported on: the summary report and experience learnt from short-term repair works in August 2012; the conditions of NH3 and CO2 compressors; the corrosion status at the Plant and suggestion on appropriate testing solutions.
It was also discussed at the conference on solutions for early detection of damage on static equipment and pipeline to prepare for promptly solutions; suggesting working methodology to specialist team to find the cause of incident and repeated damages; considering backlogs as well as effective measures to improve the use of CMMS maintenance.
The participants actively presented reports and suggested for early detection and proactively in fixing the problems likely occurred during the Plant’s operations.
