In the morning of 11 July 2017, the leaders of Phu My Fertilizer Plant held the 6th Festival contest of skilled mechanical workers at its meeting hall. Attending the contest were Mr. Doan Van Nhuom – President and CEO of PVFCCo, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of Trade Union of PVFCCo, Mr. Le Trong Dinh Chi – Director of the Plant, heads of departments/ workshops of the Plant, four contestant teams and many workers spectating and cheering for the Contest.
In the opening speech of the Contest, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung – Deputy Director of the Plant said the Contest aimed at strengthening the staff’s occupational competence, providing workers with elevated knowledge in mechanics, upholding initiatives for technical improvements in the entire Plant, sharing technical experience in mechanics and augmenting professional skills. Moreover, the Contest encouraged the staff’s permanent loyalty to the Plant and improved their teamwork skills.
The 4 teams underwent 4 laborious rounds namely Initiate – Surmount – Accelerate –Accomplish. In particular, the teams answered multiple-choice theoretical questions regarding mechanics and safety and practised on workshop models…
The Contest manifested the creativity of the Contest Organization Board and the teams’ high caliber. At the end, team 3 (Balance) won the First prize and Mr. Vo Duy Hung was awarded the First individual prize.
