Today (December 20, 2013), at 10:05 AM, Phu My Fertilizer Plant has excellently reached the production output of 7 million tons. Immediately upon receipt of the good news, on behalf of the leadership of PVFCCo, Mr. Le Cu Tan – Secretary of Party Committee cum Chairman of BOD and Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President & CEO of PVFCCo sent a congratulation letter to the Plant, congratulating and praising all the leaders and employees of the Plant for getting this remarkable achievement. In the letter, the leaders of PVFCCo insisted that this proud achievement is one of the very significant milestones in the 10 year period of the construction and development of the Plant in particular and of the PVFCCo in general. The leaders also expressed their desire that Phu My Fetilizer Plant will continue to bring into play the good tradition of the Plant in order to operate the Plant safely, stably and effectively, to ensure the highest product quality, meeting market demands. This will help Phu My Fertilizer Plant maintain steadily its leading position in domestic and regional fertilizer markets.

In the afternoon of the same day, at Phu My Fertilizer Plant’s office, PVFCCo and the Plant held a ceremony to announce and celebrate the 7 millionth ton of Phu My Fertilizer product.  Attending the ceremony were Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President & CEO of PVFCCo, Mr. Tu Cuong – Vice President, Director of Phu My Fertilizer Plant, Mr. Le Van Quoc Viet – Vice President, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of the Trade Union, together with representatives of PVFCCo War Veterans’ Association, Youth Union, managers of PVFCCo and Plant departments/divisions.

Addressing the ceremony, on behalf of PVFCCo’s leaders, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong one more time congratulated and praised Phu My Fertilizer Plant for its excellent achievement. He insisted that, in addition to the successful completion of the 2013 overall maintenance program achieved 38 hours ahead of schedule, which satisfied 4 criteria of safety, quality, progress and cost effectiveness; the urea production plan in 2013 achieved 100% 20 days ahead of schedule, the benchmark of 7 million tons reached at 10:05 AM on December 20, 2013 is the result of the continuous effort of all the leaders and employees of the Plant in particular and of the PVFCCo as a whole. This meaningful event has demonstrated the strong and steady development of the PVFCCo as well as of the national agricultural sector.

On behalf of all leaders and employees of Phu My Fertilizer Plant, Mr. Tu Cuong – Vice President, Director of the Phu My Fertilizer Plant, expressed his sincere thanks to the consideration and compliments of the PVFCCo. At the same time, he committed that all leaders and employees of the Plant will make much more effort to maintain its traditional values and get more achievements for the Plant in particular and for the PVFCCo in general.
