On September 7, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo, stock code DPM) and FPT Corporation officially launched the Digital Transformation Project for PVFCCo for the 2023-2025 phase, with a vision for 2030.
Mr. Le Cu Tan, the CEO of PVFCCo, and Mr. Tran Huy Bao Giang, the CEO of FPT Digital, signed the comprehensive Digital Transformation Consulting Project.
Digital transformation (DT) is one of the most important strategic directions for the development of PVFCCo. Speaking at the project launch ceremony, Mr. Hoang Trong Dung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVFCCo, emphasized that as a member of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, PVFCCo will focus on implementing DT in alignment with the group’s overarching direction and the development strategy of the company in this new phase.

The project “Building a Roadmap and Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation for PVFCCo for the 2023-2025 Phase, with a Vision for 2030” will be carried out by FPT Digital, a subsidiary of the FPT Corporation, specializing in providing consulting services for digital transformation roadmaps for businesses. FPT will work closely with PVFCCo in two phases. Initially, FPT will assess the current situation, establish a digital operations management model (DOM), create a roadmap, and plan the implementation of digital transformation. In the subsequent phase, FPT will monitor and evaluate the progress of digital transformation at PVFCCo to ensure that the process closely adheres to the roadmap and achieves the set objectives.
Mr. Hoang Trong Dung suggested that the project implementation team from both sides should assess the current situation in a practical manner and calculate to establish the optimal roadmap under conditions of limited resources. The project’s outcomes must be feasible and provide real benefits to the company’s operations and its employees, as well as enhance the customer experience across the country.
