On the morning of November 12, 2021, authorized by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) held a ceremony to deliver 3 ambulances to the Covid-19 prevention and control center for Ba Ria Vung Tau province.
Attending the ceremony, on the side of Ba Ria Vung Tau province were Mr. Tran Van Tuan – Vice Chairman of the People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Ke Toai – Vice Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of BRVT province. On PVFCCo's side, Mr. Le Cu Tan – General Director of PVFCCo; Mr. Tong Xuan Phong – Chairman of Labour Union of PVFCCo; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung – Deputy Director of Phu My Fertilizer Plant.
3 Hyundai Solati ambulances presented by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and PVFCCo with a total value of nearly 3.3 billion VND are fully equipped with emergency equipment, especially for transporting Covid-19 patients. To share the responsibility to join hands in epidemic prevention and control with Ba Ria Vung Tau province. After the reception ceremony, 3 ambulances were handed over to the Medical Centers of Chau Duc, Dat Do, and Xuyen Moc districts to perform the prevention and control work amidst the local COVID-19 outbreak.
Mr. Le Cu Tan expressed his most sincere gratitude for always being cared for by leaders of the province, supporting all activities of PVFCCo in general, and Phu My Fertilizer Plant in particular. Especially in covering 2nd doses of vaccine so that employees can feel secure in production. Despite the very stressful epidemic situation, the factory undergoes a periodical general maintenance period. It immediately enters the production and business period "3 in place" for a long time; the operation of PVFCCo and Phu My Fertilizer Plant is always smooth and safe, contributing to the supply of fertilizers for farmers. PVFCCo is determined to make more efforts in production and business in the coming time and continue to join hands with the province in social and community welfare work.
Speaking at the reception ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Tuan thanked the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group for the companionship and sharing in the local social security work against the COVID-19 epidemic. At the same time, he affirmed that this meaningful gift helps the local health sector to have more motivation and resources to prevent and control the outbreak. Mr. Tran Van Tuan hopes that in the coming time, units, businesses, organizations, and individuals, including the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, will continue to pay attention, share and contribute to better implementation of the COVID-19 prevention and control and social security in the province.
The program to sponsor ambulances for hospitals across the country is a key program implemented by Petrovietnam and its member units such as PVFCCo in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. The program is expected to be completed within 1.5 months with a total of 50 ambulances. Up to now, Petrovietnam has completed and put into use in many areas across the country, such as in Hai Phong city, Quang Ngai province, Thai Binh province, Hau Giang province…
