NPK Phú Mỹ: “Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand 2023”

On October 25, 2023, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Farmers’ Union and Rural Development honored the “Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand 2023” to recognize products that have made a positive contribution to Vietnam’s agricultural sector. PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) had the honor of being awarded the Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand 2023 for their product NPK Phu My.

The program “Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand 2023” was launched nationwide by the Vietnam Farmers’ Union and Rural Development in April 2023. After nearly six months of diligent and responsible work, in close coordination with various localities, the organizing committee conducted a survey of 355 products from 172 entities in various fields within the agricultural sector. Following the program’s selection criteria, the Central Selection Council selected 99 of the most outstanding agricultural brands to be honored as the Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand 2023, including the NPK Phu My fertilizer product 20-20-15+TE from the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo). The NPK Phu My fertilizer is produced using the most modern European technology, which has overcome the limitations of conventional NPK production. This technology packages all the nutrients and chemical components in a fertilizer granule, ensuring even and balanced nutrient absorption for crops. Additionally, NPK Phu My’s technology securely binds nutrients within the granule, reducing volatilization and runoff, thereby increasing the effectiveness of fertilizer use and enhancing the economic efficiency for farmers. Over the five years since its introduction to the market, the NPK Phu My product range has gained the trust of farmers in various regions of the country.

NPK Phú Mỹ: “Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand 2023”

After nine years of implementation, the “Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand” program has garnered increasing interest and participation from many localities and businesses nationwide. During its implementation, most provinces and cities have issued directives to their local departments and agencies to collaborate with the organizing committee in selecting the most exemplary products to participate in the program.

Many localities have actively promoted the program through various public communication channels, enabling the program to reach a wider audience, and helping participants to understand the program better. Consequently, they can collaborate with the organizing committee to build and develop stronger brands for their products, ensuring a solid position in the domestic and international markets.

To date, the Vietnamese Agriculture Golden Brand program has reached over 5,000 products, and with the determination of businesses, the organizing committee has provided guidance, support for standardizing production processes, improving product quality, and advising on branding and marketing strategies, transforming lesser-known brands/products into strong brands in their respective fields.

From relatively unknown brands/products, through the program, many of these brands/products have been embraced by a wide range of consumers and have become highly marketable products with high added value, providing substantial income for businesses and farmers. This program plays a significant role in ensuring political stability and the socio-economic development of the country.

In addition to promoting and honoring Vietnamese agricultural products, the program also aligns with Resolution 19-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022, of the 13th Central Party Committee on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas by 2030, with a vision to 2045, and Decision No. 150/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2022, by the Prime Minister approving the Sustainable Agricultural and Rural Development Strategy for 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. This year’s program is even more significant as it coincides with the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union and Rural Development.
