Despite facing many difficulties in the first 9 months of 2021, especially the implementation of "3 on the spot" and the price of raw materials skyrocketing. Phu My NPK product has grown impressively, becoming one of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo).  This results from a drastic and correct direction of PVFCCo's Board of Directors and constant efforts during the business sector break.

Thanks to scientific calculations and strict implementation of epidemic prevention from the beginning of 2021 up to now, Phu My NPK Factory has continuously operated smoothly while the Plant Complex performs general maintenance. Entering the 3rd year after receiving the NPK Factory with the world's most modern technology, the operation team has grasped, mastered, "owns" the Plant altogether. In addition to the supply of raw materials, the production output in the first 9 months of 2021 is estimated at nearly 128,500 tons, reaching 110% of the plan for the first 9 months of the year and 86% of the plan for the whole year of 2021, exceeding the target—44% over the same period in 2020.

The output growth and the Phu My NPK product set are also increasingly improved in quality, expanding the chain of new formulas, meeting diverse and timely nutritional needs, increasing the resistance of plants in the growing season and severe weather conditions. This year, a series of new formulas such as NPK Phu My 16-8-8 + TE; Phu My NPK 15-5-20 + TE; Phu My NPK 16-6-19+TE; NPK Phu My 16-7-16 … was introduced by the factory and quickly received and appreciated by customers. Although the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic seriously disrupted the circulation and transportation of goods, NPK Phu My's business in the first 9 months of 2021 also took a step forward with impressive growth. Taking advantage of the system of warehouses and distributors covering the whole country, reasonable moderation, flexible marketing programs, etc., nearly 121,500 tons of Phu My NPK were sold. 111% of the plan for the first 9 months of the year and 87% for 2021, up to 75% compared to the same period in 2020. Compared with the above production output, it is an apparent success.

Striving to complete the goal of 160,000 tons of NPK in 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, it is forecasted that fertilizer production and business, including NPK, will have many unpredictable challenges when the Covid-19 epidemic is still very complicated, input material prices continue to increase, natural disasters, storms, and floods…PVFCCo has developed scenarios to achieve the target of 160,000 tons of Phu My NPK output in the whole year. In the last 3 months of 2021, PVFCCo plans to produce and consume about 30,000 tons of Phu My NPK, accumulated in 2021; PVFCCo is expected to produce 160,000 tons and consume 150,000 tons of Phu My NPK.
These will be the best results if completed according to the set targets since the Phu My NPK Plant went into operation. The numbers have shown enormous significance for PVFCCo, especially in Covid-19 pandemic conditions raging around the world. These figures also prove the correctness of project implementation and affirm the position of NPK Phu My in the market and the minds of our customers. In the current context, when the supply crisis of fertilizer and food around the world is complicated, the growth of Phu My NPK has been actively contributing to ensuring the supply to Agriculture continues to be solid support for the national economy.
