According to the election results at the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors, Mr. Hoang Trong Dung was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation (PVFCCo) for a term of 5 years from 27/04/2021.
On the afternoon of April 26, 2021, PVFCCo held an online meeting with member units across the country. Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) organized the announcement and granted permission to Mr. Hoang Trong Dung (replacing Mr. Nguyen Tien Vinh) to manage PVN's capital contribution in PVFCCo. Mr. Le Manh Hung – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Members, General Director of the Group, and Mr. Dinh Van Son – Member of the Board of Members of the Group, awarded the authorization and congratulated Mr. Hoang Trong Dung.
Mr. Hoang Trong Dung is a well-trained officer with a working history in the oil and gas industry since 1977, serving in many important leadership positions. In particular, he has worked for a long time at the Phu My Fertilizer Plant Project Management Board and has many years of practical experience in the fertilizer and chemical industry. Since December 2018, he was known as General Director of Petrovietnam Chemical and Service Corporation (PVChem).
Accepting his new responsibility at PVFCCo, Mr. Hoang Trong Dung expressed his honor and would like to thank the Board of Directors of PVN, PVFCCo, and shareholders; pledged to build targets, action plans quickly, and early implement important works at PVFCCo such as: updating PVFCCo development strategy; reviewing governance towards digital transformation, increasing efficiency; strengthen research and development of new products; training the team, taking care of suitable policies for the employees, recreating the corporate culture …. Mr. Hoang Trong Dung also sends his sincere thanks to his predecessor – Mr. Nguyen Tien Vinh and promised to do his best, together with all PVFCCo Board of Directors and employees, continue the tradition and make the Corporation more and more developed in the near future.
