In the afternoon of March 27,2014, PVFCCo received an investor delegation including more than 30 representatives of global big investment funds, led by JP Morgan Asset Management, the asset manager that controls total assets of about USD 1,500 billion. The delegation came to visit PVFCCo and study DPM investment opportunity.
At the PVFCCo headquarter, the IR team introduced PVFCCo’s current production and business situation and future development strategy to the investors. The IR team also shared updated information on fertilizer market and development vision of the industry with investors. After that, the delegation visited the PVFCCo tradition hall for understanding more about PVFCCo operation history as well as the urea production process of Phu My Fertilizer Plant.The investors sincerely thanked PVFCCo for the warm hospitality as well as helpful information shared by the IR team. In addition, they expressed high appreciation for PVFCCo’s production and business results as well as development prospect of the company in the future.
Reportedly, this working visit to PVFCCo was in the framework of JP Morgan Investors Tours to several Southeast Asian countries (Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam) for studying business environments and investment opportunities into promising companies. In Vietnam, the delegation visited and worked with big listed companies such as Masan, Vinamilk and PVFCCo. Besides, they also met economic experts to analyze and study the investment environment and policy in Vietnam.
There were also representatives of GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation) besides those from JP Morgan Asset Management in the delegation. They are two major DPM institutional shareholders.
